Free Refresher's Sessions

 

Free of charge short refresher sessions lasting approximately 20 minutes

(These sessions are not aimed at new users of Class)

Improve your skills

Join a presentation on how to make best use of Class with each refresher session focusing on a small but specific area of Class. Even if you have been using Class for sometime there could be that "little gem" that you pick up. The sessions are carried out via the internet, which allows you to log in from your PC and look at our Class training data, while on the phone listening to the dialogue.

How to attend

Places are limited and restricted to one connection per school but please note that by placing your telephone on loud speaker more people can take advantage of the presentation. If you do book a place and then for any reason cannot attend please advise Infospeed so that your place can be released. If you would like to book a place please advise email address of the person joining as well as preference of session and time.

None. These sessions are FREE for all clients that hold a current Connected Support contract

Latest Class Release — Main Enhancements

This session is aimed at taking a look at some of the main enhancements that have gone into Class since v6.3.23. Some of the areas being covered are:

  • English UK Statistics
  • Promotions
  • Class Ledger
  • Enrolments
  • Groups

UKBA Points Based System Updates

Due to the changes introduced by the UK Border Agency, many administration systems have had to be updated to capture more information about students and also provide details for the online SMS system. Class now has a host of new fields and features to cover this and more:

  • Passport Information
  • Visa information
  • Sponsorship handling
  • Warnings and Reporting
  • Bulk file upload and download
  • Absence logging and reporting

All the above and more will be explained.

Statistics — Marketing and Management Information

For both marketing and management there is a great deal of information that can be obtained from bookings already entered into Class. It will be explained how to obtain this information and interpret it. A great many questions can be asked and answered by Class e.g.:

  • How are your agents performing this year compared to previous years?
  • How are the bookings for your courses compared to previous years?
  • How are bookings from the various countries compared to previous years?
  • How much did your agents earn in discount/commission last year?
  • How much is being earned each month by course/agent/country?

Scanning/Webcams/Official Documents

With the recent changes in the UK Border Agency regulations more and more schools are required to keep copies of student's passports and visas within Class - we'll show you how. This feature can also be used to save copies of other types of documents e.g.:

  • Agent agreements
  • Host Family agreements
  • Student certificates (not issued by Class)

Also how to use a webcam within Class, save a student's picture, display it on their enrolment and then use it within documents i.e. student cards, class registers.

Notes — User Defined and Dated

Are you aware of the flexibility and uses of the information that can be held within the "Notes" tab? You will be shown how to:

  • Create your own User Defined Labels and Fields for Students, Agents and Host Families.
  • Create dated notes and attach them to students/agents/host families i.e. a note about a students accommodation can be attached and accessed from the students/agents or host family's records.
  • Send internal messages/reminders to other Class users.
