This error is very rare, but will appear if two users have tried to edit/process the same record at the exact same time.

One user will be allowed to continue and the other user will see the deadlock message.

If the user exits and waits a while they should be able to continue once the record becomes free.

Firstly try closing down Class and try again, if it still does not work reboot the PC.

Check drive mapping.  If in red remap drive.

Start/Computer – look for Class drive – if it is showing but with a red X, double click on it to see if it opens, if the drive letter opens this will reset the Class paths to black and the documents will now merge.

If you haven’t already done so please can you come out of Class and reboot your computer.

Then try again.

And check/amend the security settings of Word and Excel.

This error often cleared by closing down all applications on your PC and restarting.

You could first try closing Class and Word/Excel and trying again , but f this doesn’t help a reboot should work.

This error often indicates that there is no printer assigned to the PC where the user is trying  to print.

Therefore, please ensure that there is a “Default” printer attached to this PC.

Check the date range entered is valid

The message indicates that all users are already logged in and you may need to ask/wait for someone to log out.

However, sometimes if a user hasn’t logged out correctly or their computer has crashed it will leave their session logged on.

You could ask all users to log out of Class and then select File/Users Logged In.

If there are any users showing as logged in but you know they are not, highlight the name and select ‘Clear’.

If you are the only user experiencing this issue please reboot your PC (Start/Shutdown) to see if this clears the message.

However, if all users are experiencing this issue then you will need to arrange a convenient time with all the users to get your Class Server rebooted.
