For countries (typically New Zealand) where law requires private training establishments to offer protection for student fees paid and other course-related costs.  As soon as the student’s fees are deposited with a Trust they are protected.  Then as they complete their studies/accommodation etc. the fees are gradually released to the school.

What are sundry items generally used for?

Sundry items are mostly used for one off items that should be charged on the enrolment.

Examples: Exam fees, Excursions, Uniforms, Books, Registration Fees, Accommodation Booking Fees (which can be linked automatically to the school – see “Rooms/Booking Fees tab” under “School” , Cancellation Fees, Courier Fees etc.

However Sundry items can also include regular fees  such as Insurance (medical and travel)

They can also be used for Pocket Money.

How do I login into Class?

You can log into Class using a desktop icon.   You can also log into Class using a Terminal Server or remote desktop access.

Your username and password are created by your system administrator.  There are many permissions and restrictions that can be placed on a users access rights.

These can be set up under Maintenance/Settings – User Settings.  If you can not access this you do not have access rights to this area and should contact your Class administrator.
